30 professionals focused on cell culture automation.
The cell culture team have been successfully working
in partnership with customers to implement automated
cell culture systems since 1987. They are committed
to ensuring that our products deliver value and
reliability as well as strategic benefits by addressing
key process bottlenecks in the pharmaceutical and
biotechnology industries. |

Tim Ward
heads the TAP cell culture team and is responsible
for
co-ordinating all commercial and development activities
of TAP’s cell culture business.
Tim has over 20 years of experience in the life
sciences and automated solutions industries and
brings extensive commercial knowledge gained in
senior roles. Prior to joining TAP he worked for
Beckman Coulter most recently serving as Marketing
Manager - Automated Solutions Europe. Tim holds
a BSc in Applied Biology from the University of
Bath where he specialised in Animal Physiology and
Ecology. |

operate 24/7 and perform a business-critical role
in pharmaceutical companies.
TAP provides a number of dedicated technical support
services - including field-based engineers in
the US and Europe, product champions, a spares
and consumables supply, as well as a Helpdesk.
These ensure high system availability and maximum
productivity over the long term. TAP work together
with users to ensure we tailor a solution to meet
the needs of each installation.

Standard services range from training courses to
increase system availability and productivity, through
customised services to enable rapid start-up and

provide on-site personnel to operate and maintain

TAP
offers a mix of established labware items and
new developments - both in-house designs for TAP
automation systems, as well as those developed
in collaboration with leading labware and consumable
suppliers.
