Cell-IQ™
is an automated cell imaging and analysis
system for studying changes in live cell
morphology and distribution over time (days
or weeks). The system is unique in combining
safe, long-term, observation of live cells
with sophisticated machine vision and image
analysis that can provide quantitative data
from samples that would normally require
subjective human assessment.
Cell-IQ is already
used by leading primary and stem cell research
organisations across Europe and Asia, and
is now available in the USA and Canada exclusively
from TAP.
Precise environmental control for
long term observation of stem cells
(days or weeks) under optimal conditions
Different gas environments to enable
evaluation of effects of normal and
hypoxic conditions in parallel
Image capture with integrated kinetic
analysis and production of ‘time
lapse’ videos
Simplified recognition and quantification
of changes in stem cell morphology (using
Cell-IQ Analyzer™
software and Machine Vision Technology).
Cell-IQ
can be taught to recognise
and quantify changes in
cell morphology using intuitive
machine vision technology.
Analysis
is not limited to single
cell populations - complex
structures composed of groups
of cells can be analysed
eg. the growth of an embryonic
stem cell colony on a feeder
layer.
Two plate positions available in the
incubator for simultaneous monitoring
and independent analysis
Patented ‘cell secure’
perfusion lid system to ensure optimum
conditions and gas composition in plates
(separate control for each plate)
Low intensity LED light source for
reliable, cost effective and long-term
illumination without cell damage or
photo bleaching
Patented ‘cell secure’
perfusion lid to ensure optimum conditions
for cell growth in plates
Optional CelLite™
multi label fluorescence module for
additional analysis of labels and dyes
Automated Z-Stack capture to provide
‘all-in-focus’ image
Informatics system to translate time
lapse image data into user defined graphs
or exported to Excel for further analysis
