High speed plate replication - BasePlateXR

BasePlateXR high speed plate replication automates production of assay-ready compound plates for temporary storage or immediate use. It is designed for compound plate preparation immediately upstream of uHTS with minimal operator set up and unattended operation.
A number of major life science companies, including AstraZeneca, Aventis, Evotec OAI, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer, have chosen BasePlateXR to support their plate preparation requirements.
BasePlateXR automates:

  • Plate reformatting, high speed plate replication and serial dilution
  • Temporary storage of upto 3500 plates using PlateSafes
  • 96, 384 and 1536 well plate processing
  • Collation of output plate sets, eg by type or destination
  • Full labware audit tracking
Optional features include integrated plate sealing and labelling, and automated tip transfer to eliminate cross contamination.
BasePlateXR offers:

  • Proven technology used in uHTS laboratories of leading pharmaceutical companies
  • Reliable unattended operation, enabling overnight preparation of assay-ready plates
  • Consistent, quality high speed plate replication with tight CVs (<5%)
  • Stable conditions during processing ensuring sample integrity
  • High capacity and process throughput – typically 20,000 output wells per hour
  • Complete flexibility in set-up of processes to accommodate a specific set of requirements
